Alistair Swanson
Founding Partner & Director
Alistair helps build better businesses by proactively harnessing decarbonisation, automation and the emergence of new ways of working supported by technology.
He started his career with Shell International, working in strategy and leadership positions for a decade before co-founding a consulting business in the United Kingdom. This experience delivered transformation and innovation programmes for clients like Unilever, Nestle, IDEO, The Royal Bank of Scotland, and O2.
He then moved to Australia in 2008 to lead Otraco International (Mining Services) where he trebled the size and profitably of the business and entered new markets such as Southern Africa.
In 2023, together with Craig Stewart, Future Work Group was founded.
Alistair has a law degree from Dundee University, an MBA from Manchester Business School, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Sue Keay (or Dr Sue Keay)
Partner & Director
Sue is a recognised leader in robotics, AI and automationwho is passionate about helping emerging technology businesses, the companies adopting new technologies and their workforces.
Recognised as one of Queensland's most influential people,by SME on their global list of 20 women making their mark in robotics and automation in 2021, as an outstanding contributor to the drone and robotics
industry (2020) and as a Superstar of STEM by Science & Technology Australia, she is adept at leading technology-savvy or technology-ambitious enterprises. An advocate for diversity in technology, Sue represents Oceania for Women in Robotics and was responsible for bringing the Grace Hopper celebration to Australia in 2019.
A trained scientist with highly developed strategic,analytical, and business skills, Sue set-up the world’s first robotic vision research centre (the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision), and led the development of Australia's first and second robotics roadmaps, the stepping stones to a national robotics strategy where she serves an advisory role. She was Robotics Technology lead at OzMinerals (now BHP), inaugural CEO of Queensland AI Hub, and led cyber-physical systems research for CSIRO's Data61.
A fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology andEngineering (ATSE), a member of the prestigious Kingston AI Group, Founder and Chair of Robotics Australia Group and an Adjunct Professor at QUT. Sue serves on a range of advisory boards, both international and national, in the robotics, AI and emerging technology space.
She has an MBA from UQ Business School (including a globalconsulting practicum with The Wharton School), PHD in Earth Sciences from ANU and is a Graduate of the AICD.

Craig Stewart
Founding Partner & Director
Craig is an industry leader in Analytics and Dynamic Simulation modelling built from over 30 years' industry experience backed by a BSc in Computer Science. Throughout his career, he has supported clients across the globe in a number of sectors including mining, oil & gas, health care, banking, airports, manufacturing and agriculture.
He has published several papers on leveraging analytics and dynamic simulation to understand and optimise both capital investment strategy and operations.
In 2023, together with Alistair Swanson, Future Work Group was founded.
Prior to this, Craig was a Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for three years specialising in the integration and delivery of advanced analytics techniques and tools into BCG’s consulting services. Craig was a founding director of The Simulation Group, an advanced analytics team and was the CEO for 8 years before being acquired by Boston Consulting Group in 2019.
